I have played netball for over 14 years at nearly every level – except that elusive England cap! I have been privy to some of the best, effective coaching both on the court and in the classroom and know the necessary ingredients of both a good player and a winning team. I love working on technical skills with netballers as well but am very happy to work with individuals or groups in relation to specific positions, attacking and defensive strategies, dynamic movement, choosing the right pass and all things fitness. (Fran is not a qualified netball coach but has been brought into the company for her wealth of knowledge brought about from her six seasons in England Netballs Premiership).
PERSONAL SPORTING HIGHLIGHT
Playing in a televised game against Serena Guthrie who was representing Jersey’s premiership side Jets has to be up there. On a slightly less grandiose scale, winning my first ever ladies doubles tennis match after picking up a racket for the first time about 18 months beforehand.
